Africa Lead is building on its existing Leadership Training program and envisions working with Youth in Nigeria with limited Entrepreneurial skills to develop long-term activities to strengthen African leaders and institutions at the forefront of increased agricultural productivity along the value chain.
Feed the Future program of USAID supports the advancement of agriculture transformation in Africa and one of its mandate is to promote the inclusiveness of youth in the transformation process. A high demand exists among these target groups for skills and knowledge on how to identify, start and manage successful agribusinesses.
The goal of Africa Lead’s Entrepreneurship and Agribusiness Development Short Course is to develop the capacity of youth entrepreneurs in agribusiness identification, planning and management in order to strengthen startups and expand existing enterprises.
As contribution to the FTF initiative, Africa Lead is launching a premiere short course in the Entrepreneurship and Agribusiness Development. We are therefore calling for application from qualified and interested candidates to apply to participate in this short course. The course is slated for July 10 to 14 , 2017 in Lagos.
